The Original CandidCritic (1999)
CandidCritic.com was originally established in June 1999 to provide an outlet for meaningful, brutally honest and insightful discourse on subject matter (movies, music, sports) dearest to the company’s three founders (Craig Ettinger, Scott Shuster, Jason Cahill). At launch, we stated:
“While the content that fills the pages of this web site may not be vital in nature, ardent fans of movies, music and sports, will hopefully find our reviews and commentary refreshingly thought provoking and will keep coming back to hear more from the CandidCritic.”
